How far are you from the airport?
We're about a 20-minute drive (10 miles) from Honolulu International Airport.
Is the hotel close to public transit along with shops and restaurants?
Yes, a bus stop right in front of our hotel connects you to local attractions, and we're within walking distance of world-class restaurants and shopping in Waikiki. Shuttle stops for the Waikiki Trolley are also nearby.
Does the hotel have a shuttle?
Vive Hotel has partnered with Island Express Shuttle services to offer transportation to and from the airport. Shuttle transfers start at $18.84 one way and $36.64 for a round trip. Please reserve shuttles in advance.

Do you offer early check-in?
To guarantee early check-in, book the room from the night before. Otherwise, early check-in at $40 plus tax is based on availability. Please inform us of your arrival time; we can store your bags if the room isn't ready.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 3:00 pm, and check-out is at 11:00 am.
Is there a pool and gym?
We don't have a pool or gym, but Waikiki Beach and Kapiolani Park are nearby for outdoor activities. We offer passes to FIT WAIKIKI for $20.94, including gym access and more.
Do you offer late check-out?
Late check-out is available for $90 + tax, based on availability.
Are pets allowed at the hotel?
Pets are not allowed, except for service animals.
Do you have smoking rooms available?
Our hotel is non-smoking. According to Hawaii's statewide law, smoking is permitted outside, 20 feet from public entrances.

There's a five-day cancellation policy for direct bookings. Deposits are forfeited if canceled within five days of arrival but refunded fully if canceled earlier.

We encourage direct bookings for the best rates and flexibility. A one-night deposit is required, with some promotions requiring full prepayment.

Yes, a major credit card and government-issued ID are needed at check-in.

The best rates are available directly with us. We'll price match lower rates found elsewhere.

We accept major credit cards and cash, but a credit card is required for the security deposit.

Fruits, hard-boiled eggs, bacon, and omelets are gluten-free.
What time and where is the deluxe continental breakfast served?
Breakfast is served daily from 7to 9:30am.

We only offer valet parking for convenience.

Are there connecting rooms?
We do not have connecting rooms at this time.
What is the clearance ceiling height for your garage?
Our garage has a 6-foot height limit. Larger SUVs may not fit, but jeeps and vans will. For oversized vehicles, alternative parking options are available along Kuhio Avenue.
Do you have cribs?
Yes, we offer Pack n' Plays free of charge. Please let us know in advance.
Does the hotel have a sleeper sofa or rollaway beds available?
We do not offer roll-away beds. Junior Suites have queen-sized sofa pull-out beds.
I forgot some toiletries; do you offer any?
Our "We Forgot" program provides complimentary toiletries, including toothpaste and toothbrushes.
